Let go of whats holding you back.
EMDR Therapy
Have you noticed your thoughts or body reacting in ways that don’t feel fully within your control?
Sometimes experiences get stuck in the mind and body. You might notice it as tension, racing thoughts or reactions that feel confusing or out of proportion to what’s happening now. It can feel frustrating, exhausting or heavy to carry the weight of these past experiences all the time.
Maybe you’re here because…
You notice negative beliefs about yourself that are hard to shake
You replay certain memories over and over in your mind
You feel stuck in patterns that keep repeating
You have tried other therapies or strategies without finding relief
You’re ready to feel lighter. More present. More you.
How therapy works
Process experiences in a way that helps you move forward.
EMDR focuses on the connection between your mind and body. In sessions, we identify patterns, triggers and the beliefs you may hold about yourself that are connected to past experiences. Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, we help your brain safely reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming.
EMDR is based on the idea that your brain already has the ability to heal. Through a structured, eight-phase approach, we build a foundation of safety and coping skills before moving into memory reprocessing. This allows us to address past experiences, reduce the impact of present-day triggers and support how you want to show up in the future.
You don’t have to go into detail about everything that’s happened for this work to be effective. Instead, we work with your brain’s natural information processing system to help experiences feel more resolved. Along the way, you’ll build tools to regulate your nervous system, respond to stress differently and feel more grounded in your daily life.
Therapy is collaborative. You are in control and set the pace. Together, we focus on what feels safe and manageable for you, guiding you toward new beliefs of clarity, strength and resiliency.
EMDR therapy can help you:
Experience the past with less emotional intensity
Challenge the negative stories you tell yourself
Feel less triggered in everyday situations
Regulate your nervous system more easily
Feel more like yourself again
